The St. Vitus Cathedral was dedicated, first, only to Saint Vitus until 1997. Since then it became the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert (katedrála svatého Víta, Václava a Vojtěcha). It is a Roman Catholic cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of Prague and has Gothic architecture. Being the biggest cathedral in Czech Republic, its main tower has 96.5m high and you can climb its 285 steps to look over the city.
