Foz do Iguaçu - Brazil

Foz do Iguaçu is a Brazilian city, located in the state of Paraná, in the south of the country. It is the second destination for foreign tourists in the country, being internationally known by the Iguazu Falls (Cataratas do Iguaçu in original), one of the 7 wonders of nature in the world.

The complex, which is the largest group of waterfalls in the world, has about 275 waterfalls, reaching up to 75m in height. The Devil's Throat (Gargata do Diabo in original), the most famous of them, is the one with the largest water flow.

Here are some wonderful records of this place that refers to a true paradise on Earth, with excess of nature. The Trail of the Falls, on the Brazilian side, has an extension of 1,200m, and gives the best view of the falls.

Throughout the complex of Iguazu Falls, the place is inhabited by numerous species of animals as coatis, peculiar birds and butterflies. Here are some memorable shots.

Another must-see tourist attraction in Foz do Iguaçu is the Three Borders Landmark (Marco das Três Fronteiras in original). The region is characterized by the border between the 3 countries: Foz do Iguaçu, in Brazil; Puerto Iguazu, in Argentina; and Presidente Franco, in Paraguay; each with an obelisk with colors of its flag.

The 3 countries are separated by the waters of the Iguazu River and watching the sunset on these 3 borders is an unforgettable attraction.
